Doosra special with Pakistan’s new Director of Cricket Wasim Khan

Aatif, Ankur and Isa welcome Wasim Khan for a special edition of the Doosra. The British born Pakistani is taking up one of the highest profile roles in world cricket after spending many years involved in English Cricket. He talks about the changes he wants to make, his ambitions to bring the likes of England and India to tour Pakistan, and the chats he is planning with new Prime Minister and former world cup winning captain Imran Khan. The former Leicestershire Chief Executive also talks about how close he came to succeeding Andrew Strauss as England’s Director of Cricket.

The team also look ahead to India’s pursuit of history ahead of the Second Test in Perth after winning the opening game in Adelaide. Aatif dwells on Pakistan’s tantalising Series defeat to New Zealand, but is excited at the new direction Wasim Khan will take them towards.
