If cancer has touched your life in some way, whether it be your own personal battle, or that of a loved one, you know that the road of cancer is a long one. If you are in this club that none of us asked to join, you probably know that people love to call fighting cancer a ‘journey’...but as a member of this club, you also know the real truth...that this so-called ‘journey’ of cancer really doesn’t end. Our lives are forever changed in many ways...some negative, but dare I say it, some positive, too. Join me as we talk about REAL topics around living with a cancer diagnosis as a young adult.

Finding Your Inner Breast Cancer Goddess: Healing Through Yoga & Holistic Living

“Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you” -Unknown

Today you will hear an interview with Vera Ventura. She is a breast cancer thriver who has quite the following on social media. She has a vibrant personality and has been through a lot in her life. Vera has a love for holistic living, yoga, and helping women find their inner breast cancer goddess. As a reminder, the information shared in this podcast is not meant to serve as medical advice. You will hear Vera share her opinions on procedures and tools commonly used in the breast cancer world. Her sentiments are derived from her own perspective.  I want to remind my audience that each person has a unique experience with cancer and it is perfectly okay to have different opinions. It’s one of the reasons why I love doing this podcast… hearing from people with varying ideas is what makes this platform interesting. I would like to point out that any specific medical questions you have should be directed to your healthcare team.
