If cancer has touched your life in some way, whether it be your own personal battle, or that of a loved one, you know that the road of cancer is a long one. If you are in this club that none of us asked to join, you probably know that people love to call fighting cancer a ‘journey’...but as a member of this club, you also know the real truth...that this so-called ‘journey’ of cancer really doesn’t end. Our lives are forever changed in many ways...some negative, but dare I say it, some positive, too. Join me as we talk about REAL topics around living with a cancer diagnosis as a young adult.

Cancer Support Programs: Creating a Safe Space for Cancer Patients and Survivors

"I am only one - but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do." -Edward Everett Hale In this episode, you will hear a conversation between myself and Paige Malinowski. Paige is the Program Manager of the Young Adult Program at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. I have been lucky enough to work with her on numerous occasions through my work with Elephants & Tea Magazine. She is amazing at what she does! In the episode you will learn about how she knew this was the right career for her, more about what specifically her program offers, and how you can find a similar program near you!
