In the second part of the season 12 premiere, the Doctor finds herself trying to travel back to the future to find her friends. While the Doctor tries to battle her oldest enemy, The Master, her companions must use their limited spy resources (including laser shoes and rocket cuffllinks) to thwart not-Google CEO David Barton. After this adventure through time, The Doctor discovers some terrible news she could not have anticipated.
