As a parent, divorce can feel like a fight for survival as you navigate extreme grief, loneliness, and pain while still assembling school lunches and poster board presentations. But divorce can ultimately be a catalyst for change—an opportunity to thrive.
Join me each week on the Divorce Tribe Podcast as I discuss stories and lessons-learned after the dissolution of my 15-year marriage and how I survived and am now learning to thrive as a parent and individual.
Whether you are contemplating divorce, in the thick of it, or mourning the loss of your marriage, this podcast is meant to provide support and healing as you navigate the daily trials and questions that accompany divorce.

On today's episode of The Divorce Tribe Podcast (Episode 018: Christmas is Coming) I talk about the joy of Christmas after divorce. I share memories of Christmas from my childhood, from my marriage, and from my divorce, and how divorce has changed my perception of Christmas. Yes, this time of year will be different than it was when you were still married, but I'm not going to let my divorce ruin my favorite holiday! I'm going to enjoy it on the years that I have my kids and the years that I don't have my kids.
My goal this episode is to help you realize that even when dealing with unanticipated divorce and struggles, Christmas can still be a magical time--a time when you can create new traditions even as life looks different than how you pictured it.
