As the eldest daughter of an immigrant family, I've spent the past few years coming to terms with the fact that I'm okay with not having children, despite growing up wanting to be a mother and also conditioned into believing that I "should" have kids by the time I'm 30.
I explore my own reasons including physical changes / health risks, as well as experiences as a pseudo-mum for my siblings.
There is still so much cultural and societal stigma around a decision like this and I want to bring more awareness and open up conversations around this because we don't talk about this enough!
