The Rock wanted Rhodes to become 'his' champion but was instead told to "go **** yourself". It was then Cena who would align himself with the 'Final Boss' in a shocking turn of events, first delivering a low blow to Rhodes following an embrace, hitting him in the head with a watch and then the Undisputed Championship belt before choking Rhodes out with his own tie. Cena and Scott then held Rhodes down for The Rock to whip him with his custom made weightlifting belt. The closing shots of Elimination Chamber 2025 was of Rock and Cena looking back at Rhodes who had blood pouring down his face. It was the most shocking end to a PPV in wrestling history.
