Digitally Sick is a digital health thought leadership podcast. Why: Collectively, we felt that the European health conversation lacked a space within which an informal, incisive and occasionally irreverent commentary on the issues of the moment could take place. Digitally Sick is our response to this perceived need. What: The podcast’s emphasis is primarily on focused on the sharing of the opinions of ourselves and our many guest speakers as to the Pharmaceutical industry’s digital activities – what the industry is doing, what it isn’t doing, and what it could or should be doing. Podcast is with Faisal Ahmed @cleverpeeps and Alex Butler @alex__butler

The pod of Alex Butler and Faisal Ahmed is joined by guest Len Starnes to talk about how doctors are using professional social networks to fight the coronavirus, COVID-19. Len has undertaken research into networks from across the world including China, USA, UK and Europe and has defined a number of ways that doctors are using these networks. This usage includes crowdsourcing information and ideas, providing data to governments on doctors response and needs, developing partnerships such as with WHO and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and including other members of the community such as nurses, pharmacists and patients.
