On this episode, Derek sits with Dan Holdridge.  Dan is a former IT Engineer and a survivor of the September 11th, 2001 attacks.  I asked him to come on the show as part of my “Derek Duvall Show 9/11 Outreach Program” as he is our first survivor of the attack on the Pentagon.  Dan will discuss his origin story, how he came to work for General Dynamics Information Technology and what brought him to the Pentagon.  We will then talk about the attack on September 11th attack and how he dodged sure death by 10 feet and how a clipboard and a cigarette saved his life when a hijacked American Flight 77 was flown into the building.  We then discuss his book, “Surviving September 11th” and how we should all take 90 minutes to appreciate life and tell our loved ones how much we love them as we may never get that opportunity tomorrow.
