This is a series of recorded conversations to continue to build community and cohesion within the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. Sharing knowledge about different components of the Department, the faculty and students within and the broader academic life.
This episode will focus on Joanna Rankin, Undergraduate Program Director in the Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies Program within the Department of Community Health Sciences. The focus of this discussion was to bring attention to the Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation as a pillar of CHS educational programming, help faculty and others understand CRDS as a field of study, highlight the community that CRDS serves and advocates for, and to plant seeds about how CRDS and non-CRDS faculty members could better integrate to achieve the "we are all CHS" vision.
