This is a series of recorded conversations to continue to build community and cohesion within the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. Sharing knowledge about different components of the Department, the faculty and students within and the broader academic life.

This episode will focus on Val Martin, an administrative assistant who has been with the University of Calgary since 2002. Together, they touch on bringing attention to the administrative staff who are vital to the function of the Department, share the successes and challenges that admin staff may be experiencing with the transition to remote work, and plant seeds about how faculty members could better support their admins during this time.
