Confronting Stigma: Berrie Holtzhausen, Founder of Alzheimer's Dementia Namibia shares about his journey as a pastor, navigating witchcraft in Sub-Saharan Africa and dementia tourism
Berrie Holtzhausen is the Founder of Alzheimer's Dementia Namibia (ADN). Berrie has dedicated his life to combat the stigma linking people with dementia to witchcraft in rural African communities. Prior to founding ADN he was a pastor for over 20 years. Berrie holds a Masters degree in Theology and honours in Semetic languages.  In this chat, Berrie tells us about his journey of activism, advocacy and providing compassionate care for people living with dementia.
