DEI is: Understanding Why Diversity Training Fails w/ Kristina Smith

Kristina Smith, President & Executive Culture Leader of D&I Strategists, has worked with government agencies, for-profit, and non-profit organizations ranging in scale from the local to the national. Her forte is coaching leaders, helping teams work better together, and facilitating conversations about race/diversity. In 2019, Kristina was certified in Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ)—the neuroscience of conversations. While her undergraduate work at Emerson College was in the field of Communication Disorders, the bulk of her career was influenced by her graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University where she studied Organization Development with an emphasis on How to Manage Change in Organizations.

Kristina joined the “DEI is:” Podcast to help us to understand why diversity training fails in 2022 AND what we can do to position our professional DEI practices as well as our clients for success. Where do we begin? Tune in to find out!
