Back in 2018, when Stephen's book was released, they did a giveaway contest on Twitter. They would have Degrassi actors post videos asking Degrassi Trivia Questions. In total, five questions were asked and many Degrassi fans walked away with an e-book of "Whatever It Takes."I remember this contest so well because I waited to see if Annie Clark was going to release a video. When she did, I sprung into action to answer the trivia question and I won an e-copy of Whatever It Takes. I was able to read the book a few weeks before anyone else. Degrassi's publicist, Kathryn Ellis, had written a story about 'Swarming." Yick had joined a gang that started swarming kids for their shoes, clothes, jewelry and money. Yick's been able to keep it a secret from Arthur until one night, Arthur ends up being their target. After swarming Arthur for his things, Yick quits the gang and rekindles his relationship with his best friend.At the same time, Ken Roberts worked on a story about the duo. Following them through their first year at Degrassi as they learned about bullies, girls and revenge.
