Dialysis, Ridesharing and Bail Reform; oh my! The California Ballot this fall is stuffed to the brim with propositions and voter initiatives! But which ones are the real deal? Don't rely on the commercials! Our Debate Show Panel is here to help!
Today on the show we have four panel members, some with policy experience, a lawyer to keep us on track and just some professional voters with ballot expertise. Brothers like Dwayne Aikens, Parks commissioner of oakland he is currently the commissioner of Lake Merritt and several other parks in his district. Also we have Eve Arguete, an activist and former Bernie victory captain, rideshare driver that fought against proposition 22, former graphic artist and marijuana delivery owner pre-adult use corp.
We also have joining us Walter Jay McMath, former deputy public defender for Alameda County, graduated from the prestigious Ivy League school Princeton , holds a Juris Doctor from Cal Berkeley school of law and is now in private practice running his own law firm and has a podcast called the Samurai Lawyer. last but not least we have Mario C. Rivera, Senior Engineer working in Silicon Valley, born in El Salvador in 1976, raised in San Francisco (Frisco really) since Elementary School. No real affiliation to any political ideology but with an interest for a more humane society.
