Unpopular Opinion: If you're a marriage minded single woman listening to this podcast, do NOT go for that promotion at work.
At least, not just yet.

If you need the money, put a deadline on your career ambitions - but ask yourself if you still want to be single and stressed out from your all-consuming, demanding career 5 years from now.... when your fertility window will be much smaller.
If you want marriage, be as ambitious in love as you are about your career.
If you want to find YOUR person this year, do something about it.
