Introduction of The Neuroscience of Pranyama Series w/ Julia McCabe

Julia McCabe is on the podcast this week. She is a catalyst in the lives of both Crystal and Andrea, who attended her 300-hour yoga teacher trainings (separately). She is a teachers teacher and a curious student for life that is back in school working on her Masters's in Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health at King’s College in London, UK. We are three really good friends that move in and out of friendly banter to deep teachings from the ancient and neuroscience lenses. This podcast talks about selective attention, how our attention spans are waning, how to breathe and why it’s important, teacher trainings, our triggers and how to deal with them. Today's teachings are ladder breath and adding a ‘what I did’ list to your nightly journal practice.
