In this episode we had the pleasure of having Jay Helms, the founder of The W2 Capitalist on the show! Jay has had a really interesting journey, from working a well paying 9 to 5 job in the IT sector to then being laid off during the pandemic. After he got laid off he wasn't sure what he was going to do next but once he gave it some thought, he decided to double down on real-estate investing and take it full time. During this time he also began ramping up his real estate mastermind The W2 Capitalist, which is a community of various different types of real estate investors joining together to grow and to have a group of like-minded people to go to for questions and conversations about real estate. 

We also discussed how he got into some really profitable syndication deals, how people get out of the paralyzing analysis stage before making their first real estate offer, short-term rental (Airbnb) investing, investing while working full-time and much more.
