Ahead of Fashion Week(s), I'm kicking off a four-part series with my very lovely friends and editorial peers: Savannah Sitton, Market Editor at Fashionista and Beatrice Hazlehurst, freelance Features Editor at publications like Rolling Stone, Vogue, Paper & more. While fashion gets a rap for being cutthroat, we actually met at a press dinner (shoutout Longchamp!) in Los Angeles and bonded over endless stories on early career days that mimicked The Devil Wears Prada, the great NYC vs. LA debate, interviewing celebrities, and balancing a calendar of events while finding time for creativity, wellness, and a personal life (what a concept!).
