On this episode of the CSEP Podcast marginalized populations are discussed with our guests Cotie Guzman and Kate Andrews.

Cotie Guzman is the proud owner of Cotie Guzman Fitness an Edmonton based personal trainer. Cotie's training focuses on creating a friendly and inclusive space in order to help the 2SLGBTQ+ community get started with their fitness. You can find Cotie's website here and on Instagram here.

Kate Andrews is the Chair of the CSEP Professional Standards Program® and is also the Chair of the personal fitness trainer program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

On this episode listeners are also introduced to the future host of Season 4 of the CSEP Podcast Abby Marshall. Abby has been fascinated by human movement for as long as she can  remember. She has enjoyed movement especially in the forms of folk  dance, martial arts, contemporary dance, yoga, and hiking. This led her  to earning her BSc in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. She's  been honoured to help others improve their health and quality of life  through physical activity within several populations including emergency  response occupations, professional and varsity athletes, those with  permanent disabilities, chronic health conditions, pregnancy, and all  ages. A member of the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology since 2003, she is a Certified Exercise Physiologist, a Certified Tobacco Educator, and a 300 hour Certified Yoga Instructor.
