on today's pod, felicity (@felicityzhangphotography) interviews guests Siripong and Mind from Unit Film Camera in Bangkok, Thailand. they talk about their own photography journeys, how the camera shop sources their cameras, and ways that COVID-19 changed the film community in thailand.
about the guests:
Pattamon Wattanapaisan (Mind), 26 years old, Bangkok
I'm the shop manager of Unit Film Camera Bangkok, I do this job because I like photography that can keep my memories and photography can express what I think or feel and my father is my inspiration, he liked photography too when I was 10 years old my father gave me his film camera to take photos, he didn't teach me but he cheers up and appreciate my photos so I love photography since then.
Siripong Sankanee (Siripong), 58 years old, Nonthaburi
I'm a seller staff of Unit Film Camera Bangkok, I worked for a Nikon dealer for 25 years because I liked photography. I learned about the camera basics from colleagues and bring it forward to this job now. I like to take landscape photography because I like the view of nature it makes me feel peaceful.
