The problem is that no matter what you do you and how far you go in life, there will always, be someone who's "better" than you and who is richer, smarter, more talented, happier, thinner, better looking, better smelling, healthier, more popular, better connected, you name it. If you measure yourself against those people, you're setting yourself up for failure because you're striving after something that's impossible.
