On this special episode of the Cover Brothers and with the help of Josh Weiss and Jack Goldberg, we consider 5 of our favorite Jerry Garcia cover songs. We discuss Jerry's early years, banjo playing, and traditional music like Shady Grove. We rock out to a classic blues cover of Let It Rock and discuss the pressing question of is Jerry a blues guitarist. We get experimental and a little chaotic in our discussion on Death Don't Have No Mercy. We pay our respects during our discussion of the always heartbreaking Dylan classic Knockin' On Heaven's Door. Finally, we let our freak flags fly while discussing the quintessential Grateful Dead song and cover, Morning Dew.
