We all want to ignore or avoid something some days. What are you hiding from and for what? Is it working for you or just making things worse?
Sometimes history is ignored because we think our way is better or that our situation is so different than anything or anyone else, but it is? Or is history something to be adhered to?
We are all affected by other people, daily issues, sickness & even the weather. But it's how we take responsibility for how we respond and what we do control that matters.

Disappointment can be an excuse to act out or shut down, or it can be used to evaluate your expectations and perspective. Either way a drink won't fix it.
In a time where this may be used for holidays or football, it applies to healing. You have to believe that recovery is possible & that you can & will experience it.
What is motivation? How do we use it? And how do we maintain it?
You can only make life changes by doing the next right thing.
