Our society’s default perception and understanding of relationships and by extension, love is through the lens of heteronormativity.
This assumption has severely limited our understanding of love, relationships and each other.
Love is fluid. It is a state of mind and being but how can we recognize love if we restrict it within the confines of a heteronormative society and understanding?
