Whoa!! It’s 2025…how did that happen?

Welcome to the NEW home of the Quarter Notes podcast - I am excited to be putting out a new episode and continue this journey talking to amazing drummers from all aspects of the drumming world, from the small stage to stadiums and all genres of music.

Before having to take a longer than expected break from podcasting, I had the chance to sit down and get to know my awesome guest this week, and that is Rhode Island drummer extraordinaire Jesse-Ray Leich.

Jesse-Ray is a world class drummer based out of New York City where he is currently backing up one of New York’s finest artists D’Lourdes, he also can be found on Broadway where he’s provided a solid backbeat for many stage productions (Billy Crystal’s Mr. Saturday Night! & Juliet, Titanique, MJ The Musical, as well as Alicia Keys’ Hell's Kitchen). We had a great talk about musical education, what it takes to be a drummer in the musical theatre world, and so much more!

Enjoy my chat with the ultra talented Jesse-Ray Leich
