Study reveals that generative AI can improve brain power but only under some situations
A recent MIT study found that generative AI can actually boost brain power—but only if it’s used at the right stage. When people first wrote on their own and then revised with AI, they showed stronger brain activity and better recall. But starting with AI led to weaker engagement and memory. ConnectSafely Education Director Kerry Gallagher said that it shows that generatve can be used in educatoin if thoughtfully designed and used at the right stages of the learning process
