Nino Negri is a wine estate in Italy’s Valtellina DOCG, recognized as one of the most challenging regions to grow grapes due to its rugged terrain in the Lombardy Alps. Steep terraced vineyards require hand-harvesting and airlifting harvested grapes by helicopter! DOCG Valtellina wines must contain at least 90% Chiavennasca, local dialect for Nebbiolo.
