Hello, I'm Anna, veterinary technician of 20+ years and your personal guide through the often stressful, scary, and confusing world of navigating medical care for your pet. In this first episode I explore the importance of advocating for your pet and the challenges that come with that. I share some personal and invaluable lessons about client care and advocacy, and the crucial but often overlooked role of pet owners in the veterinary process.
Many clients struggle to assert their needs effectively in high-stress veterinary situations and through my own experiences and insights, I wanted to share the disconnect that I have seen occur between clinics and clients which makes it challenging for the pet owner to navigate veterinary care confidently and to their satisfaction.
