This is where I am telling my life story but with a twist. I am connecting it to social justice and how the intertwines with the world.
In this episode, we take a deep dive into how my identity as an immigrant can be seen in the different readings that were done for this quarter. We look at a movie "Race the Power of an Illusion" where it takes us into a journey of how race has shaped the society views of others. We also take note from Gloria Anzaldúa, a former migrant worker turned schoolteacher who's works focuses on feminism, lesbian, and Chicana issues. Other sources include a couple chapter from different textbooks, one from Koppelman and the other form Sensoy and DiAngelo. Hope you enjoy!
