Election night is over and it was not good for the Republicans. Democrats won the races for governor in New Jersey and Virginia. Self proclaimed Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani handed Andrew Cuomo and some republican in a girl scout's hat a resounding defeat. I look forward with cautious optimism and make a plea for unity within the democratic party. I discuss what fundamental differences and misunderstandings are driving apart the moderate and progessive wings of the party.
