I am honored to have Brandon Escochea as the 1st Marine on this podcast. We got to dive into Brandon's decision to join the Marine Corps where he served an accumulative 10 years; 5 as a KC-130T Crewmaster, and the remaining 5 as a Marine Amphibious and Force Reconnaissance Marine. He also went through Marsoc selection and completed the course but was not selected, but would then go on to complete Recon selection and become a Reconnaissance Marine.
Brandon then decided to transition from Active Duty to the National Guard to pursue special forces. He was able to get to Robin Sage which is the last training exercise of the pipeline but had to leave due to a personal issue and was not able to complete the course. He now is a Scout team leader in the National Guard and is a full time premobilization evaluation instructor and is finishing his degree in intelligence studies.
