Psychotherapy is for people who want to heal from a crisis or grief. Coaching on the other hand is you have the person's life in your hands because you're coaching them to create the life they would love to live. There are three positions to coach someone: there's coaching from in front, which is giving information, there's coaching from the rear, which is motivating or cheering the person on by acknowledging them, and then there's coaching alongside where you're just partnering with the person.
