In life, there will be moments where we are afraid and it will often times stand between us and action. Speaking from the book of Judges, we see how God led Gideon out of fear and into faith. Stepping out of fear is a journey of faith and trust - trusting in how God sees us, even though our surroundings and self-perception say otherwise; trusting that God is with us, even in the ordinary and everyday; and trusting that God will use us, even if our “yes” is weak and our step of faith is small. We pray that in the moments where we are fearful, we will know and remember that we do not need to be afraid because God is with us. We can have faith and draw strength from God’s presence, who is our courage. #wearethecitysg #sundaysatthecitysg
