In this episode we conclude our discussion of film noir with Howard Hawks' "The Big Sleep" and Edwin L. Marin's "Nocturne," both released in 1946. Through these films we discuss the sexual disfunction of the noir detective and the self reflective voyeurism inherent in the genre.
