Jim “Mattress Mclngvale” Mattress Mack launched Gallery Furniture from his pickup truck in 1981 with $5,000 in life savings and turned it into a furniture empire and has since turned it into a retail empire. Along with being known as a great businessman, he’s best known for his generosity. In the midst of Houston’s natural disasters through the years, Jim has always opened his store and taken care of people and this is why he is considered Houston’s "hometown hero."  In this episode, Jim stopped his work to discuss leadership, entrepreneurship, and a little bit of politics.
