From a series of conversations I’m calling, “Get You Outta my Hair!”, meet Dawn. Dawn is a hair stylist in the DMV area who’s seen herself in a number of toxic relationships. Today she opens up to share her story of being love bombed, ignoring the signs, and grieving the people she thought she knew.

Anyone who has a regular stylist or barber knows the unique relationship that forms between client and stylist. We basically dump on each other, right? Lol. Through that lens, I’m inviting stylists to join me in demonstrating the power of intimate conversation, expressing what we’ve been holding in, and using this as a gateway to exploring grief recovery and/or therapy.
