Fans of The Walking Dead know it's so much more than a zombie show. It's an emotionally rich, character-driven series about love and loss, and found family, and the lengths we'd go through to protect the people we care about. That's what's kept us coming back all these years. (And also we like zombies.)
I’m Jason Cabassi. My cohost Karen and I started podcasting about The Walking Dead back in 2010. Along the way, I’ve appeared on the show a couple of times as a walker, hosted hundreds of Q&A panels with TWD actors at conventions across the U.S., and eventually teamed up with my current co-host, the witty and insightful Lucy Hinnie. Together—with some incredible guests—we’ve covered The Last of Us and every Walking Dead spinoff, from Fear to Dead City.
Right now, we’re enjoying a rewatch of the original series—with the full story in mind—and diving into the moments that still hit hard. Past guests on the podcast include Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Robert Kirkman, Angela Kang, Greg Nicotero, and many more.

This finale, we think, is one of those episodes where if you squint just right, it’s full of holes, and if you shift your perspective just a little, it’s delightful! And we’re delighted to talk it out.
Next time we’ll be going right back into the Walking Dead rewatch, and we really encourage anyone who hasn’t been listening along with us to that to jump back in! It’s great to revisit The Walking Dead. We’re really having a blast with it.
