The talking point on everybody’s lips from this week’s International scene is the confirmed signing of Erling Haaland. The 21-year-old is set to join Manchester City after his release clause was activated for a measly £60 million. Manchester City of course haven’t had a world-class, out and out number 9 since Sergio Ageruo left them in 2021 and the citizens are looking to bolster up their already world-class squad with some attacking firepower to hopefully win them their first-ever UEFA Champions League trophy in the next season.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Ajax Cape Town goalie Sean Roberts and Soccer Laduma International News Correspondent Kurt Bucckerfield also talk about the Erik ten Hag regime at Manchester United with a complete rebuild looking to be the case. It is said that the Dutch tactician wants to get Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt to join the Red Devils.
