Meet the Carolinian Poet: Gino P. Paradela is a Founding Member of The Stray Poets Collective, a literary and art community dedicated to help popularize poetry in Cebu City, the Philippines. Some of Gino's works have been featured in Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, Voice and Verse Poetry Magazine, The KNACK Magazine, and The New Post-literate: A Gallery of Asemic Writing.

He teaches at the University of San Carlos Senior High South School. He has two dogs.

The spoken word piece Gino shares in the podcast today talks about the country's drug war, how it is disproportionately set up against the poor, and police brutality.
