Meet the Carolinian Poet: Miguel Barretto Garcia writes poems in English and Cebuano and has performed in poetry slams and spoken word events in London and Switzerland. Their poems have appeared in Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, Cordite Poetry Review, The Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, and Rattle. They are currently completing their Ph.D. in decision neuroscience at the University of Zurich.
