The Carnage Report Bonus Episode: Panic Fest 2025 Recap
Hello and welcome to The Carnage Report, where we bring you the latest on all things horror-related, keeping you up to date with news you can use. Hosted by Julie Holland and Nick Spacek, this part of the Cinepunx family looks to fill a hole in your podcast feed by looking at new releases in the theaters, on-demand, and streaming, and featuring an in-depth discussion of a new release each episode.
On this bonus episode of the podcast, we had so many people ask us about our favorite stuff at this year’s Panic Fest in Kansas City, we sat down and ran through a few of our thoughts on the things we caught, including Freaky Tales, The Lost Episode, Chainsaws Were Singing, and more. As if that wasn’t enough, we hopped on Zoom with actors Kai Cech, Pierson Fode, Kue Lawrence, and Giorgia Whigham, along with director Daniel DelPurgatorio, to talk about the new summer camp slasher, Marshmallow, which played at the fest and hits theaters on Friday, April 11.
Music by Steve Spacek, who you can find on Instagram @starlingwoodworks and on Bandcamp. Interstitial music is “Slaughter Into Space” by Voyag3r, and is the finale cue to Movie Theatre Massacre.
