EXCLUSIVE: Govt HIDING migrant data + Poilievre calls for END to temporary foreign worker program
On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show, Candice breaks an EXCLUSIVE news story that the Liberal Government refuses to share exit tracking data on those ‘temporary’ visitors whose visas have expired and those who are illegally in Canada.
That’s right. The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) tracks if a temporary foreign worker or international student hops on a flight and leaves Canada. But suspiciously, they won’t share the numbers!
Apparently, the government doesn’t want the public to know how many ‘temporary’ visitors are over-staying their visas, remaining here illegally.
Why does this matter?
The Carney Government’s 2025 immigration plan assumes that 1.2 million ‘temporary’ residents will VOLUNTARILY leave the country once their visas expire. But nobody will track them down. Could many of them decide to stay illegally, joining the estimated 500,000 illegals already in Canada (Ottawa’s own estimate).
This story – and their refusal to share data with journalists – shows the Liberal government’s refusal to take illegal immigration seriously.
Later in the episode, Candice is joined by Conservative MP and the Shadow Minister of Immigration Michelle Rempel Garner. They discuss our exclusive story and the broader problem of relying on ‘temporary’ immigrants to voluntarily leave the country on their own.
Next, they discuss Pierre Poilievre’s BIG announcement yesterday that the Conservatives are calling for an END to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
