Neil Goldstein | The Business of Entertainment | Ep. 5 | Part 2
Here in part 2 of a 6 part mini series I introduce myself and background in lighting for entertainment. In December I was the guest on an episode of the Youristics podcast, hosted by Koby BenMelach. Youristics is about how humans interact with technology. The next few episodes of TBOE will be a mini-series of clips from the episode I did on the Youristics podcast but here I’ll feature additional commentary at the beginning and ending of each episode. In this episode we start with some of my credits and then go down the rabbit hole of the history of photography, film emulsion, and who uses film today. One of the older films I’ll be diving into is Metropolis, and how cinema has been distributed throughout history. Enjoy.
