Session 011: Jack Parsons | Big Youth Group
The boys are back into interviews and welcome Jack Parsons onto the pod. Jack is CEO of Big Youth Group, a collective of youth first companies improving the odds of young people between the ages of 18-30. Jack opens up about his upbringing, his decision to leave school at 16 to pursue work and how this led to founding his first business Yourfeed at the age of 20.   Jack tells Ross and Tom the story Yourfeed’s incredible growth to the events that led to its liquidation late last year. Jack highlights the positives he took from the experience and how this has shaped his success today. Jack then introduces Big Youth Group, the different elements of the business, and the rapid success since its launch in February 2018. Ross and Tom hear about Jack’s ambitious aims for the future of the business. The boys also discuss a host of issues including whether university is always the best path, and the pros and cons of being in the social media spotlight. Tom gives a brief update on Henry’s travelling movements, and the boys play this week’s quote-based game.
