Ross, Henry and Tom are excited to welcome their first sportswoman on The Bull Sessions. This week they are joined by Torz Anderson, England Lacrosse player and 2017 World Cup Bronze medallist.
Torz teaches the boys about the ins and outs of lacrosse, and how the England team copes without funding. She gives an insight into what it’s like juggling a full-time job with the commitment and training that it takes to play international sport.
The lads learn about Torz’s journey to the 2017 world cup, beginning when she had to decide between pursuing high jump or lacrosse itself, and the heartbreak of being left out of the 2013 World Cup squad. Torz explains how this feeling drove her to work even harder for the 2017 World Cup, which culminated in England winning a Bronze medal in dramatic fashion.
The boys and Torz discuss the future of lacrosse and Torz ambitions, while Henry introduces an all new game segment to the pod – this one’s well worth a listen!
