With over a third of our lives spent at work, not doing what we love for a living makes little sense. Yet so few do. When asked, eight out of ten people said that they would not return to their places of work if they were given a million pounds. How do we then bridge the gap between the two extremes: happy but broke at one end, wealthy but miserable at the other? in modern times, is it really possible to enjoy meaningful, heart lifting work that also turns a decent wage or profit? This is what we investigate. Welcome to the Buddhist Millionaire Podcast.

Conversations with Buddhist Millionaires: with Sude Baykal, student and animal-loving business owner

Welcome back to a brand new season and episode of The Buddhist Millionaire Podcast (Season 4, episode 1).

We hope you had a wonderful summer break. Ours was busy. We moved house because Sheri starts a new Head-Teacher role at a new school an hour outside of Muscat, and I was away for a month on pilgrimage. We’ve come back to work for a rest!

Anyway, on to today’s show.

They say you can see the quality of a person’s character by the way they treat both the people who are less fortunate than themselves and animals.

My guest today, Sude Baykal, is a young woman with many admirable qualities. Two of those are a compassionate heart and the courage to run a small business. She is as good an example of a Buddhist Millionaire at the beginning of the journey as it is possible to find.

Also check out our new feature for Season 4: the Featured Friend section. This is where we give a shout out to a person, small business or enterprise that has caught our eye. (Check out today's FF at 26min 37 seconds of the show)

Please take the time to like, comment and share this episode with someone you think might benefit. We need your help spreading the Buddhist Millionaire word.

Lots of love.

Matt and the team x😊🙏🏻🙏🏻
