John Thrasher is a professor of Art at the Ohio State University‘s campus in Mansfield Ohio. He completed his MFA degree at the Ohio State University in 1992 he joined the faculty of the Ohio State University Department of art in 1995 when he began teaching at the Mansfield campus. Thrasher has exhibited his art nationally and internationally 2006 he was the international artist in residence at the works are in design vegetable in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He travel to Japan to present his art works to the mayor and citizens of Tamara city, Japan, as part of a sister cities delegation for Mansfield in 2009. Through his education and experience thrashers learn the art is not a job, it is a way of life! Listen in as he talks about his career path, advice, and how professors have had to adapt to coronavirus impacting the classroom and how students interact with them.
