After a little hiatus, the podcast is back with my guest, my man, Chris Fist. Chris has been in the hardcore scene since the first wave of bands in New York City. A founding member of Clenched Fist NYC, as well as playing in everyone from Life's Blood, Mental Abuse, Breakdown, and The Wilding Incident. He was in a bar in Brooklyn with a special appearance from our friend Zak. This isn't even an interview at all. It's a crazy funny conversation that constantly goes off the rails. So strap in and know beforehand that this one is chaotic. Much respect!

Roger Miret (Agnostic Front. The Alligators. The Disasters. The Psychos. Madball)
This was a very long time coming.
My guest on this episode of The Brooklyn Blast Furnace Podcast is one of The Godfathers of Hardcore... singer for Agnostic Front, The Alligators, The Disasters, former bass player for The Psychos and Madball... author of "My Riot: Agnostic Front, Grit, Guts & Glory" and his new book, "WITH TIME: The Roger Miret Archives"... ladies and gentlemen, one of the greatest to ever do it... my friend, Roger Miret!
We had a cool, laid-back conversation about everything from his books, holding onto memories, how hardcore and the culture is so important to us, and many other people on a personal level. I decided to pick his brain about one of my all-time favorite AF records, "Liberty & Justice For...", what's going on with The Alligators and what's next up for Agnostic Front.
I'm grateful for the time he put aside for me. Especially since he rarely does podcasts as well as taking time away from his family to talk to me for a little while.
Nothing but the utmost respect.
