The New York Rangers have clinched a playoff spot! For the second consecutive season, there will be playoff hockey at MSG! The Rangers are also right on the NJ Devils tail in the race for home ice for the first round of the playoffs. Thanks to the Rangers going 8-1-1 and NJ going 4-4-2 in their last 10. Thursday's match-up in Newark could be an opportunity for the Rangers to hit 100 points and pull into a 2nd place tie with the Devils. This week we are joined by Chicago Blackhawks reporter Tab Bamford. Tab covers the Hawks for Bleacher Nation and the Fourth Period. We discuss the Patrick Kane trade and how that was beneficial for all parties involved. We also talk about NHL legend Steve Larmer who deserves to have his number 28 in the rafters in Chicago, as well as a HOF induction.
